Hello Coastal Locals!
The voices of Highland Beach residents were heard and there will be no multi million dollar, citywide project ripping up our roadways for months to come. Our office was happy with this outcome and experienced an increase in purchase commitments after the resolution failed. It seems our buyers were leary to sign on the dotted line with this level of uncertainty in the mix.
We are now experiencing a bit of a "calm after the storm". Easter and Passover are very close this year so many of our Northerners have headed home to be with family for these special Holidays. Our Season was not quite as busy as years past but many transaction were completed and has reduced our inventory moderately.
Highland Beach had a total of 22 condo sales (does not include town homes or single family homes) between Jan 1, and March 1, 2019. The lowest price sale was a 1 bedroom in Regency Highland for $297,000 and the highest was a 3 bed 3.5 bath in 3200 S Ocean for $1,775,000. Seventeen of these were cash purchases, 4 obtained conventional financing and 1 is listed as "other financing". Be sure to check out the sales statistics below which include coastal Delray and Boca Raton as well. Feel free to call me anytime for a free market analysis of your coastal home.
In the meantime,
I hope you are enjoying your place in the sun!
